WHERE LUXURY HAS NO BOUNDARIES

Relaunching as Lusso Hair in 2018 has given Cass Preston and her talented team more freedom and opportunity to offer an even wider range of products and services. Since leaving a well-known franchise after a decade, the new salon is continuing to see even more success: “It has been an exciting six months for Lusso and we’ve enjoyed every minute of being able to develop our creativity and originality, and to offer an even more luxurious service to our loyal clients,” explains Cass.

Client care is very much the central focus of everything the team at Lusso do with new services and treatments continually being sourced. The amazing Olaplex treatment is now available, which works miracles on reconnecting broken bonds in the hairs’ structure, preventing damage and producing an incredibly healthy finish. Other brands include leading professional men’s grooming brand American Crew, which, for more than 20 years, has been at the forefront of development in male hair, body, shaving and styling products.

Cass herself worked with leading range Wella for many years and is now once again able to offer all the new products this industry leader has, including the much revered Koleston Perfect colour treatment. This fabulous pure range gives up to five levels of lift with a much more natural depth and shine than other products, whilst avoiding the use of some of the chemicals that can cause sensitivity and reaction.

Oli Kenyon, who has been part of Cass’s team for over four years and will become Salon Manager in the New Year, is currently undertaking a Wella Colour Masters Qualification: “I’m so pleased for Oli,” explained Cass: “He is already a fantastic, creative colour specialist and this qualification will give him even more knowledge to cascade to the team and to further benefit our clientele.”

Continual updating of skills and ensuring the services available at Lusso are always on trend is paramount to why the salon is so successful and it’s clear the team don’t want to stop learning and refreshing their skills.

Stylist Harriet demonstrated the new Hot Tools Curl Bar, a super-innovative tool which is ergonomically angled and uniquely designed to achieve long-lasting soft waves or big curls in seconds, and it’s easier for clients to use too. One of Harriet’s other skills is hair extensions – Cass explained that the salon has used Great Length Extensions for four years, which use a cold-fusion bonding system, meaning no glue, no heat and therefore no damage to the natural hair.

The talents of the team are on display in the salon by the unique photo shoots they do with their own clients. The posters which adorn the walls and windows are not ‘off the shelf’ as is usual practice, but clients are invited to have their hair styled, their make-up applied, their photographs taken, and then bespoke posters made to give a real reflection and showcasing of the stylists’ skills.

The welcoming atmosphere is immediate as you walk into the chic salon space. Lusso is a combination of Cass’s daughters’ names, Lucie and Sophie but also, very aptly, the Italian word for luxury: “We still offer the same luxurious service we have always offered our clients,” explained Cass. “But in fact if anything it’s even more special and luxurious. Our clients have always, and still remain, at the centre of everything we do.”

From the New Year there will be a loyalty card scheme where clients can accrue points to use against future services. To book an appointment at Lusso Hair call the salon on 01254 823333. Cass, Oli and their fabulous team are ready to welcome clients old and new and to ensure them a salon experience they’ll want to repeat again and again.
