Customers can also visit GB Integrated systems headquarters in Burnley to see Control4 in action and experience the home cinema that has been installed there. At the flick of a switch down comes the big screen, the blinds are closed and the lights are dimmed.
“When people sit down in the cinema here at our headquarters they really get a feel for what it is like – the sensory theatre of it all,” says Scott Earing of GB Integrated Systems.
The cinema that will be installed in Clearly Interiors will be fully sound and safety proofed with specialist wall material and, in a new collaboration with Burton Safes, GB Integrated Systems are installing a specially strengthened ‘safe’ door.
Known as ‘safer’ rooms, adapting a room in your home to protect you and your family against intruders, has become increasingly popular especially for those opting for new-build homes.
GB Integrated Systems have created a number of ‘safer’ rooms in Cheshire as Scott, explains: “If you are going to create a safer room in the home it has to be easily and quickly accessible. So creating a home cinema that also acts as a safer room is perfect.”
As well as security in and around your home, Control4 can operate lighting, heating and music and at GB Integrated Systems they have the knowledge and experience to offer a full design, supply and installation service for all systems. They have installed Control4 systems in high-end residential properties, lighting control solutions in restaurants, in sports arenas, meeting rooms and on the high street.
