Mark, 38, has just been named Director of Operations at the five-star Holiday Village in Wrea Green, after joining the business as a student. From those humble beginnings as a part-time bar worker, Mark now finds himself in overall charge of significant swathes of this award-winning, family business. PASSING THE BATON
It has been announced that Edwin Booth will be stepping down from his role as Chair of the Lancashire Enterprise Partnership (LEP) after a highly successful seven-year tenure, which has overseen more than £1bn of investment into Lancashire. His leadership has seen the LEP become recognised as one of the strongest performing enterprise partnerships in the UK. The majority of public investment secured by the LEP has been competitively won, creating Lancashire’s largest ever growth plan – investment on a level with the elite core cities. The LEP was also the first to join the Northern Powerhouse.
