Running the hugely successful Dottie’s is Maria, who has many years’ experience in the industry running the historic Samlesbury Hall’s restaurant before the launch of the ice cream parlour and wafflery last year.
Maria loves to keep her customers happy with speciality ice-cream, milkshakes and waffles – a totally delicious way to spend an afternoon!
Dottie’s has a huge range of toppings – from banoffee (with a splash of rum for the over 18s) to a mouth-watering cherry Bakewell waffle. All the milkshakes at Dottie’s are made using first-class Moo2You ice-cream, which is not just for sunny days! Any time of year, visitors can sit and enjoy a smooth and creamy milkshake and totally delicious waffle, watching the world go by in the wafflery itself.
Plan your day around Samlesbury Hall, which has a fantastic play area for children, embark on a tour of the hall or visit the bee garden where you can see the bees, behind glass hives, making their delicious golden honey.
With Halloween on the horizon watch out for Janey the witch too, while you enjoy a super spooky waffle at Dottie’s!
