The property
A lovely characterful barn conversion in the heart of Chipping which had been on the market since April 2018. The home is a surprise to anyone who visited the property as to how spacious it is and quiet.
When Armitstead Barnett’s new Ribble Valley office took hold of the marketing of the property, we altered the marketing, refreshed the web portal and highlighted the house to our purchaser who had been looking for a while.
The buyer
The buyer had been looking for the last year for a character property in a village location in the Ribble Valley. They had seen the Chipping property on line but dismissed it due to the photos. They revisited the web to find new photos of the property, which prompted a call to our office to book a viewing. Once inside they were delighted with what they saw. They went on to make an offer which was negotiated by our skilled team and went on to be accepted.
The buyer then instructed us to sell their beautiful immaculate home in Whalley. The house is only five years old and on a small development. With excellent presentation and priced just right, we sourced a large amount of interest in the first week of marketing despite the competition in the new sector in Whalley. We had over 10 interested parties in less than a week – a fantastic start! We sold the property to a family who were only in a small chain.
The sellers and the buyers were very happy with the outcome and were ready to enjoy their move.
