Cottage Garden Collection

The costume maker for Netflix sensation Bridgerton, Liz Poole, has launched an exciting new collection of table linen, napkins and candles based on her own country cottage garden

Launching in May, Bridgerton costume maker Liz Poole is delighted to introduce a new collection of limited edition table linen, home accessories and candles to her coveted Velvet Linen interiors range. Since founding the brand in the summer of 2020, Liz has created a beautifully edited collection of home accessories which are made by hand by a team of artisans. Using only the finest Liberty print velvets and natural linen, the elegant soft furnishings and now table linen are set to become cherished heirlooms of the future.

The new Daisy Meadow and Peony collections feature beautiful digital prints taken directly from photos of Liz’s country cottage garden.

Inspired by the wildflower gardens of her cottage Liz has created a beautiful and whimsical collection of table linen and homeware celebrating flowers of the English countryside. Daisies, delphiniums, cow parsley and dahlias dance together in abundance. It makes for the perfect backdrop to dress a table for those long summer lunches, whether they are indoors or al fresco.

The Daisy Meadow collection includes a round, square and rectangular tablecloth as well as napkins, cushions, director’s chairs and the brand’s first candle offering – the Daisy Meadow hand-poured three wick candle features notes of pear, white freesia, rhubarb, amber and gentle musk. The soy wax candle is vegan and is packaged with a handmade paper candle cover sprinkled with cottage flower seeds to scatter in your own garden.

The Peony collection similarly features table linen, napkins and a candle.

Velvet Linen is rapidly becoming a name to watch in the interior’s world, offering an incredible array of home accessories for lovers of the bold and beautiful or for those who have their keen eye on refined and elegant design.

Following the renovation of her Victorian Railway Cottage, Liz and her team worked on the finishing touches to her home. She soon realised that the cushions, quilts and seat pads that were being created using the finest velvets and natural linens, were gaining attention from family and friends.

Liz now has a studio working with the most talented team of makers and artisans, who make costumes for musicals, theatre and opera including West End’s smash-hit Hamilton, Glyndebourne Opera in Sussex and the Royal Opera House.
