EXCITING CHAPTER UNFOLDS

This year, once again sees the Cartford Inn evolving further as another exciting chapter unfolds. This original 17th century coaching inn is a multi-award-winning pub and restaurant and of course a boutique hotel with the diversity of individually designed rooms both in the hotel and in two incredible cabins overlooking the River Wyre.

June saw the completion of two new stunning refurbished rooms on the top floor of the original building – the aptly named ‘Lookout’ with stunning views of the river and the ’Gymnasium’, quirky with the name derived from the use of old gymnasium benches as part of the stylish décor.

Owners Patrick and Julie Beaumé have an incredible eye for detail and style and these latest additions personify the essence of their creative flair. The individuality of both rooms creates space to explore and enjoy and you have to admire their eclectic use of recycled materials. However, make no mistake nothing is compromised in terms of quality.

The inn also serves award-winning food and drink and is once again recognised with a position in the Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastro Pubs in the UK. New menus have been introduced by head chef Chris Bury and his team of dedicated and talented chefs. Chris has recently been named food ambassador for Lancashire. The combination of great food and impeccable friendly service is at the core of the inn’s philosophy – they constantly deliver both with great aplomb. This young team constantly innovate and are encouraged to develop – the result being an incredible experience for the customer.

The evolution is set to continue with a June opening of the new art studio and the jewellery workshop, which will be the home of the hugely talented Tanicia Hayton. Located next door to the inn’s on-site deli and café, TOTI, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy exhibitions and shows from local artists. This will be another exciting addition to the many reasons to visit the Cartford Inn. Check out their website and social media pages for all the events throughout the summer.
