RejuvaMed is expanding its offering in 2019 to include a pioneering new body sculpting and fat busting treatment at its Chorley clinic.
RejuvaMed medical director Dr Grant McKeating explains: “We are delighted to be among the first in the UK to introduce the recently launched 3D LaserSculpt, which is the latest addition to 3D-Lipo’s range of body-contouring machines.”
After hiding under warm layers during the winter, many people are now thinking about looking good in summer clothing and beach wear. This is where the 3D LaserSculpt can work its magic.
“Many of our patients will be familiar with the original 3D-Lipo machine which offers effective fat freezing and skin tightening. As one of a new generation of laser body sculpting systems, the 3D LaserSculpt offers further advances in the treatment of stubborn pockets of fat and is almost certainly the fastest and most effective non-invasive treatment currently available.”
“3D Laser Sculpt uses light-based laser technology to destroy fat cells. During treatment, applicators are secured onto the chosen area of skin. These deliver laser energy through the skin surface without damaging it.”
“The targeted application of laser energy heats fat cells under the skin, raising the temperature to a point that they can no longer withstand. At this point, the cell’s structure is damaged, leading to necrosis (cell death). The body identifies these dead fat cells as waste in the body, leading the body to process them naturally via the lymphatic system. Results are seen within six-eight weeks of treatment.”
