IF YOU GO UP TO THE WOODS TODAY…

Set in 22 acres of its own Forestry Commission certified ancient woodland, and within the Forest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Three Rivers Woodland Park is on several footpaths and bridleways and still conveniently only 2.3 miles from the picturesque market town of Clitheroe. It even has its own private water supply from a spring on site.

With such a beautiful location, and an abundance of wildlife, it’s easy to see why this family firm recently chose to take over at Three Rivers and are keen to develop the site in an environmentally sympathetic way.

“This used to be the best site in the area. We want to restore that reputation and give the energy, attention and investment it deserves to make it even better,” says Rebby, new park director who has just moved on site with his young family. “It’s a great place for a family to be,” he adds genuinely.

Day visitors, holiday makers and site residents will see major improvements this summer, continuing into next year.

The newly extended clubhouse will have full refurbishment of its two bars, swimming pool and reception area including an improved family room. The addition of a new on-site shop, café and gym will add to the facilities.

As well as buildings improvements, the grounds are being extensively re-landscaped. The park already boasts two children’s play areas and lots of green expanse, however new paths are planned for woodland walks. A lovely terraced garden area, frequented by a wide variety of wild birds, is to have seating and a summer house. A disused carp pond is also to be reinstated to add fishing to the activities on offer.

The site’s 50 week holiday home, or year-round residential licences, make it the perfect place to own your own little piece of the Ribble Valley, or for a short stay, holiday lets are coming soon. The swimming pool and bars are also available for private hire, for parties and other events.

Your dream holiday home deserves an extra special location, and Three Rivers Woodland Park ticks all the boxes. If you are considering a weekend away, your own holiday retreat to escape to, or looking for a beautiful place to live in the Ribble Valley, Three Rivers is definitely worth a look!

Why not pay a visit to the new showground, or call the friendly, helpful staff for more details?
