Tigermoth vase has grand designs for the future

This very large and impressive 19” trial baluster vase is currently the only one in existence, however a limited number of five vases may be produced. Sally Tuffin was famous for her fashion designs in the 1960’s (the Foale and Tuffin label) and later her designs for Moorcroft pottery. Today she has her own exclusive pottery based in Somerset. Sally designed this tiger morphed onto a blue moth on tracing paper which was then transferred onto a huge hand thrown pot by Rory Mcleod. The pot was then tube lined and hand painted by Vanessa Thompson before it was fired.

This magnificent vase is on show and available for sale at Holden Wood Antiques. Price £2,500.
