It’s approaching that time of year when we start to think about enjoying longer days and shorter nights. Days filled with sunshine and warmth, walks and barbeques – and what better way to do it than in comfortable, well-fitting shoes!
Fitright footwear is a unique, independent, retail shoe shop that specialises in, and is dedicated to, helping people with problematic feet find shoes to fit. Unlike most shoe shops we measure and fit shoes specifically to each customers’ needs. Whether you have insoles, bunions, hammer toes, Morton’s neuroma, wide, deep or swollen feet, we stock a range of footwear to accommodate feet of all shapes and sizes.
The fitright footwear team are professional, fully trained shoe fitters. When you visit our appointment-only, specialist shops you will receive our undivided, personal attention from start to finish. We pride ourselves on our extensive product knowledge which enables us to select and fit shoes that are the most suitable for our customers.
This spring and summer we are delighted to announce that we will be stocking a new brand of footwear called ‘Think!’ Think! is a unique Austrian brand designed to get you ‘thinking’ about your feet and sustainability. Think! was the first shoe manufacturer to be awarded the Austrian Eco-label as well as the Blue Angel for its ecological and sustainable shoes.
Think! use almost exclusively natural materials and thus only take as much from the environment as they can give back to it. When selecting materials for shoes Think! prioritise natural, renewable raw materials and all leathers must be vegetable tanned. This ensures tanning without using chromium. This is good for the feet as well as the environment. Think! also believe in sustainability from start to finish, using eco-friendly recycled cardboard, environmentally certified printing processes and no glue. In addition, Think! shoes are wrapped in 100 per cent recycled tissue paper and stored with sticks made from local wood.
With built in arch support and adjustability across the toes and ankle areas Think! sandals are not only ecologically sustainable they offer amazing comfort, style and support for our feet.
As well as Think! fitright footwear will continue to stock a variety of different brands, with styles for both men and women, including Joya, Finn Comfort, Fidelio, Legero, Waldlaufer and DB Wider Fit Shoes. All our brands offer combinations of zips, laces and Velcro fastening, some of which include stretch sections to help awkward feet, non and rocker soled shoes some of which include built in arch support for extra comfort.
