The Best Of British

The Three Fishes is delighted to introduce a new specials menu to run alongside the delightful, ever-changing seasonal menu. Chef Nigel Haworth has devised the specials menu focusing on his ‘farm to fork’ ethos – it’s a philosophy that has already gained the Three Fishes a flattering review in the latest Michelin guide, The Times has named it among the 30 best places in the country for lunch and the pub has been tipped for stardom in the national press.

The newly introduced specials menu includes a line-up of innovative dishes that feature first class ingredients such as Morecambe Bay oysters with shallot dressing, an aged Hereford beef tartare with parsley pesto and a salt baked yellow beets dish parcel-filled with sea prawn, smoked eel and horseradish with the temptation of Oscietra caviar for the perfect enhancement to an already divine dish.

Equally appealing are the Loch Fyne tempura scallops served with tartar sauce and pickled cucumber and, among the star dishes is blue grey beef for two – a grilled double rib with Bernaise sauce and signature triple cooked chips.

As always, Nigel has a plant-based offering to suit vegetarian and plant-based guests and a separate dessert menu that diners will find irresistible!

Nigel’s obsession for supporting culinary talent continues as he announces upcoming guest chef nights at the Three Fishes. Nigel explains: “It’s time we throw open the doors and welcome some familiar faces to our beautiful eco-focused kitchen.”

The first guest chef will be Tom Parker, head chef at the Michelin-starred White Swan at Fence, who was mentored by Nigel and went on to become the youngest sous chef at Northcote.

The second will be Aktar Islam, the only British born chef in the country currently running a Michelin-starred Indian restaurant.

The line-up will continue with some of the best chefs in the UK cooking at the Three Fishes.

The pub is also introducing a loyalty offer to say thank-you to customers who have supported the pub since it opened.

With summer approaching, excitement is building as the beautiful Terrace at the Three Fishes takes shape outdoors, where there is seating for 42, an exclusive Chef’s Table and Spanish Charcoa grill.
