What A Difference A Dye Makes

Whilst it’s still the winter months, February and March is a time to make those small changes to stop you feeling blue and get you in the mood for some sunshine

Having a new style or colour on your hair can literally transform how you look and feel. Dark colours may make you look pale and drab, while going blonde might light up your face.

They say blondes have more fun, but brunettes get taken more seriously – proving that the colour of your locks really does affect more than just your appearance. But if you’re wanting a change and not sure which way to go, always get advice from the professionals. Your hairdresser will be able to look at your skin tone, eye colour, what colour clothes suit you and choose a hair shade that’s right for you.

It’s best not to go too drastic at first and maybe start with some subtle highlights, take along a few photos of what you like with you to the hairdressers. What looks good on a celebrity in a magazine, may not have the same effect on you. If you want a new cut and a new colour, opt for the cut first to get used to style. A colour may look completely different on long wavy hair as opposed to a short blunt bob.
