PROPERTY SALES SOAR

This year has been an exceptional year for premier estate and lettings agency Dewhurst Homes. “I think homeowners have been thinking about moving over lockdown so there is lots of enthusiasm. There is pent up demand – we have seen a massive increase in sales,” explains Louise Callaghan of Dewhurst Homes, which opened in 2004. Since then the business has grown from one office with three employees to now having four branches with a team of 30.

The Government’s stamp duty holiday has also driven sales as buyers can save thousands of pounds.

While mid to higher end properties are selling fast, Dewhurst is also seeing a surge in great-value terraced properties being snapped up by investors.

As an ‘essential business’ Dewhurst’s lettings continued throughout lockdown: “We have managed all our properties as we have had to keep up with maintenance.”

Adhering to all Government safety guidelines, the Dewhurst team observe social distancing and wear PPE when dealing with clients.

So, if you are thinking about buying, selling or letting, talk to the team at Dewhurst Homes!
