McDade Roberts Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers has been assisting Lancashire families, businesses, and individuals since the 1990s: “We offer the full range of accountancy services as well as the usual compliance service. We are also financial advisors through our sister service MR Financial Services and we’re probate registered. Some of our clients have been with us since the day we started,” says director, Martin Garry.
The personnel of the Lancashire accountants, which now has offices in Fulwood, Longridge and Bamber Bridge, has changed over the decades, but Martin believes their unique selling point remains their welcoming and approachable style: “There are a lot of good accountancy firms around, but what differentiates us, is the friendly personalities of our team and the fact that we are led by client need.”
Kevin Carey, McDade Roberts’ longest serving director, spotted such a client need when he launched their newest and most innovative service: McDade Roberts Financial Director (MRFD). This unique service is aimed at businesses who do not have an in-house financial director, but who would benefit from the scrutiny of one.
Martin explains: “MRFD looks at potential efficiency gains. We seek out your business’s pinch points and system weaknesses and because we aren’t part of your business, it’s all from an objective viewpoint. It’s a completely personalised service. We can report to board meetings, assess reporting systems and control and ensure technologies are being introduced into the financial functions.
