A Magical Classic Tale

King George’s Hall, Blackburn is delighted to announce that Stageworks Worldwide Productions returns in December for its take on the classic tale, Beauty and the Beast

True to panto form, there will be brilliant goodies and baddies, singing, dancing, acrobatics, and plenty of magic. This tale is as old as time and is brought to Blackburn by the team at Stageworks Worldwide Productions. Kevin Simm, winner of the BBC’s The Voice 2016, will play the role of Beast, alongside Jennifer King as Beauty. Will the evil curse be lifted before the final petal of the rose falls? Come along on a journey filled with singing, dancing, acrobatics and magic by all your favourite characters including; Monsieur Ding Dong, Gaston and Lumiere, all of whom go out of their way to make sure of a happy ending.

Alice in Wonderland – Lewis Carroll’s timeless classic has been adapted for this year’s Christmas show at Darwen Library Theatre and is suitable for all ages. Alice ventures on a journey, a journey of epic proportions. Her natural curiosity allows her to follow the white rabbit down a rabbit hole and tumble into the topsy turvy world of Wonderland. It is here that she meets the Mad Hatter, Tweedledum and Tweedledee, the Cheshire Cat, the Queen of Hearts and a whole host of colourful characters.
