BEST WEDDING VENUE!

Samlesbury Hall is the most magical of wedding venues and, not surprisingly, this historic stately home recently picked up a top award

There were celebrations all round when Samlesbury Hall won the Lancashire Tourism Best Wedding Venue Award.

“We were thrilled!” recalls Hall Director Sharon Jones. “We were just so happy as a big part of the hall is about weddings so it’s important to us to get recognition for what we do. It’s also great for our brides and grooms – they can say their wedding is at an award-winning venue!”

The magnificent black and white medieval building that is Samlesbury Hall is a truly enchanting venue, and perfect for the most important day of your life.

There is a dedicated team of experienced wedding co-ordinators who are always on hand to advise and help you on your way and they also have a list of recommended suppliers or you can use your own.

You can make your wedding whatever you want it to be at Samlesbury Hall as it offers an exclusive bespoke service, as well as all-inclusive packages.

There are many reasons why couples choose to have their wedding there:
• Throughout the year this is the perfect venue, with great flexibility with regards to the number of guests, exclusive hire of the hall, a choice of beautifully prepared food, a hog roast in the evening, a pizza fired oven and a bridal suite in the Gatehouse complete with roll top bath and complimentary fizz.
• Guest accommodation – not just your average hotel room but a quirky collection of luxury shepherd’s huts within the grounds. The huts in the Hamlet are each fitted to the highest of standards, including your own wood burning stove.
• Come rain or shine, Samlesbury Hall is open all year round so weddings celebrations can take place inside the hall or within the beautiful grounds, both of which provide a great backdrop for photography.
• Having received Taste Lancashire’s Highest Quality Award, the hall only uses the best local produce from local artisans and from their own kitchen garden. You choose your wedding menu and the chefs will cook it to perfection.

The hall is licensed for ceremonies in the Parlour, the historic Whittaker Room and the 700-year-old Great Hall.

If you would like to know more about weddings at Samlesbury Hall why not go along to the first Wedding Open Event of 2020 on 23rd January from 5pm-8pm or alternatively give the hall a call and arrange your very own private tour.
