ESTATE LIFE

Gisburne Park Estate is a 1,000-acre estate surrounding Gisburn, owned and managed by Guy Hindley, who is converting it into a thriving tourist destination called Ribblesdale Park

The New Year is behind us and we are well into our stride for 2018. We recently installed two new software packages via our partners at Hoseasons, one of which will generate automated price changes daily and the other is a resort management system.

The competition is tough out there and we didn’t win Best Park in the North this last year, so we are striving hard to retain our mantel and improve wherever we can. These new systems will help as will continuing to upgrade our accommodation and continuing to provide unparalleled customer service.

Our new wedding business is also in full swing as it’s the time of year that lots of brides are looking for the perfect wedding venue. Nestled within 1,000 acres of historic Ribble Valley countryside, I am now opening the doors for a limited number, to create the wedding of their dreams. Perched on the tributary of Stock Beck and the River Ribble, there is no other setting like this in the UK and its yours exclusively for the whole week. Your tipi, marquee or Sperry tent sits near the water and is surrounded by 70ft cliffs overlooked by 300-year-old beech trees.

Upstream, beyond a picturesque bridge and set back slightly from the river’s edge is your magical, spacious three-bedroom Riverside bridal house and suite, from where you can watch your dreams unfold. Riverside House is yours for seven nights and has a large dressing room for wedding party preparations, two further bedrooms, which are accessed by a separate staircase, two bathrooms, a large kitchen, dining room and two lounge areas.

I am proud to boast that we are the largest venue in the Ribble Valley and can accommodate well over 200 guests overnight in state-of-the-art lodges, historic houses and cosy cottages, all with private hot tubs.

As always we have a few lodges for sale starting around £100,000. These come fully furnished with spacious decking areas and views of the Yorkshire Dales. If you would like a private tour of our show homes please don’t hesitate to get in touch to arrange a viewing.

Hindelinis has recently introduced some new homemade pancakes and waffles to our already impressive all-day breakfast menu. These are served with a choice of toppings from fresh strawberries and blueberries to crispy bacon and scrambled eggs as well as caramelised bananas all with either maple syrup or lashings of Nutella.

For all enquiries don’t hesitate to call us at the Estate Office on 01200 415300
