Eye Candy

Having just got back from the eyewear show during Milan Fashion Week, I’ve gained an insight into what’s next in the world of glasses and sunglasses, writes Robert Sands

The major trend is back towards minimalism; whilst glasses have been generally getting bolder and bolder over the last 10 years with thicker rims and brighter colours, now it’s all about thinner frames but in cool shapes – particularly round or aviator. Round shapes have been a theme for a few years and show no sign of going away.

For ladies, gold is making a massive comeback, with brands such as Jimmy Choo and Chloe going with metal frames as their signature pieces. For men, the ‘double-bar’ typically found on sunglasses is the way to go.

You should never be scared of change when it comes to glasses or sunglasses, try to follow my advice and with the right variation of what I’ve described above you will look great.
