In its third generation, Campbells has expanded into Whitebirk, Blackburn with much investment into the spacious site and a special focus on the growing motorhome industry.
Founded by Barney Campbell in 1969, Campbells is now run by grandsons and joint Managing Directors Mike Barnes and Daniel Campbell.
For Ribble Valley residents, Campbells Blackburn is a great place to view motorhomes and caravans locally. Within easy reach, the Whitebirk site has an extensive outdoor leisure shop for motorhome and caravanning lifestyle, including Isabella and Kampa awnings and accessories, with a large dedicated area for testing out the different awning styles, as well as Cadac barbecue equipment and a wide range of crockery and accessories – perfect for your next adventure!
And, adventure is what this industry is all about as the Campbells ethos is: “There’s a world out there, go find it”.
MD Mike Barnes explains: “The motorhome and caravanning lifestyle really does open up a whole new world. It’s about finding your inner explorer.”
Mike is extremely enthusiastic about the quality of their motorhomes and the expertise of the team: “Bailey and Swift are market-leaders in motorhomes and the sales team at Campbells are very experienced in terms of helping customers to find exactly the right motorhome for them. They use motorhomes themselves and there are 15 to 20 different layouts so you can find the perfect motorhome for couples, for families, or tailored to couples but with space to take the grandchildren along too.”
Neil Curtis is the branch manager at Blackburn, having worked for Campbells for eight years and managed the motorhome sales department for the past three years. He has a wealth of knowledge of motorhomes.

With the new Swift franchise and many Swift motorhomes arriving this month, there will be up to 50 motorhomes on display at Blackburn, with different, nearly-new stock also arriving weekly, along with around 50 caravans including new Swifts and Sprites and a good selection of used models.
