“Compared with electric tubs the running costs of an eco-tub are extremely low,” says Lucy Webbe, who is part of the team at Firewood Supplies & Stoves. “Also, the tubs have excellent heat retention so if you replace the lid after use, you can contain much of the heat – meaning re-heating your eco tub is so much quicker.”
The wood-fired boiler means that electricity is only required for the air bubble system, which is one of the quietest on the market, and the LED lighting, which means only a low 240v power supply is required.

“We have had a huge amount of interest in the Cotswold Eco Tubs,” adds Lucy, who works alongside Lauren Bracewell, whose father founded the business.
Supplying first class kiln dried firewood and all the accessories needed for wood burning, Firewood Supplies & Stoves are Woodsure Ready to Burn certified, which means that on 1st May this year, they will be compliant with a new legal requirement to burn only wood supplied by Woodsure Ready to Burn companies.
Having recently diversified, Firewood Supplies & Stoves is now a recognised retailer of quality wood-burning stove brands, including a selection of outdoor stoves made from Corten steel that naturally rusts to create a characterful stove that sits well within a garden landscape.
The outdoor stoves feature air wash glass technology, and because the fire is enclosed the fuel lasts longer. They also feature a two-metre flue, which draws any smoke upwards giving them a huge advantage over fire pits – and one model has optional modifications that means it can be easily moved to any part of your garden!
