Penwortham Golf Club will soon open its doors to recently engaged couples to showcase its offering for both wedding ceremonies and receptions.
Luxurious, friendly and with a hearty and welcoming atmosphere; Penwortham Golf Club has been an established part of the community since 1908, with hundreds of members enjoying the facilities. Based in the heart of Penwortham, the golf course has recently been granted a license by the Council to offer full ceremonial packages, with a range of bespoke options available to suit personal needs and requirements.
Set within beautiful and exceptionally well-maintained grounds, a well stocked bar, step-free access, friendly staff and a wonderfully convenient location, Penwortham Golf Club is likely to become a hotspot for local residents and couples from further afield looking to celebrate and cement their love.
Nestled on the bank of the river Ribble, the club has three venue sizes available to suit 20, 60 or 120 guests comfortably. Staff will work with a couple to ensure each wedding is carefully crafted and entirely personal, offering weekday and evening weddings, as well as traditional Saturday ceremonies and receptions.
Scott and Jenny Richardson recently celebrated their special day. They said: “Our wedding turned out to be everything we wanted and more. The staff at Penwortham Golf Club worked so hard to make our reception the relaxed and informal day we wanted. The panoramic view from the clubhouse across the golf course is beautiful and provides the perfect backdrop for the reception and photographs.”
Gill Roscoe, who is in charge of coordinating wedding functions of behalf of Penwortham Golf Club, commented: “We are delighted that Penwortham Golf Club is offering wedding ceremonies and receptions and it is a huge honour to offer this facility. We are also looking forward to working with couples to create something special.”
