We’ve been a retail supplier of Woom bikes (pronounced ‘voom’) since we first opened, because they are undoubtedly the best bikes for children available today. In fact, we’re proud to be one of only three Woom retailers in the UK.
You only need to read a few reviews to see how these Austrian-designed bikes tick all the boxes for children and parents – they are easy to ride and 40 per cent lighter than other bikes to carry if little ones get fed up.
But not many people realise that we also have this great brand of kids’ bike available to hire.
The exceptional quality and design of Woom bikes means they’re not the cheapest to buy, so hiring offers a great way to try them out first too.
We have Woom bikes to hire in 14 inch to 24 inch wheel sizes, which would suit ages three to 14 depending on ability and we also have Raleigh bikes in junior sizes.
Cycling around our beautiful local area is a great way to spend a day with the family and we have a host of ways to make sure nobody has to miss out. From kids’ seats and trailers to children’s and junior bikes, we have enough options to ensure everyone can enjoy the adventure.
TOP TIP: hiring bikes from our Dunsop Bridge HQ is a particularly rewarding way for grandparents to have fun with grandchildren. You can easily keep up with the kids thanks to the added boost of an e-bike, while the little ones burn off their energy on a cool, conventional bike they’ll love.
There’s a wealth of local routes that include stunning scenery, as well as taking in paddling spots, ice cream stops and fun-filled play parks. Not forgetting, of course, the option to hire panniers and load up a well-deserved picnic.
