As we start the new year, we all take some time out to analyse what works and does not work within our lives and make our personal and career goals for the next year. Your home is no different. It is literally the centre of your universe and has the ability to improve your day-to-day life, helping you achieve your goals.
You may have recently embarked on a property move, or maybe you are currently looking for your next home – you may have even experienced your home increase in value without lifting a finger and are happily living within your dream home already!
Whatever your situation, most people want their home to be the best it can be and to work for their specific family requirements. Take some time to analyse if your home works for you and your family. Many of our homes have had to adapt over the last two years to many different scenarios – such as home working, home fitness regimes, intergenerational living and even new additions!
You may want to improve the natural light, maximise the surrounding views, improve the connection to the garden, create indoor/outdoor living, improve the internal flow, create a wow-factor and kerb appeal, create additional space or a home office or incorporate a hobby such as a swimming pool, home gym, games room or equestrian facility. You may even have additional out-buildings or land that we can assess the feasibility of utilising to create your required accommodation.
Take some time out to analyse what works and does not work about your home – what do you love, and what could be improved? We ask our clients to create a wish-list of what they want and a list of what doesn’t currently work within their home.
