As the 2024 British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) gets underway, West Surrey Racing (WSR) have announced their continued partnership with renowned motorsport design studio Racing Line Designs.

The renewed collaboration means that Racing Line Designs will once again create a limited-edition bespoke piece of artwork for each round of the BTCC, starting from the Donington Park season-opener.

Prints of the artwork, which have a fresh new look for 2024, will be distributed to VIP guests of WSR and its partners on-site at each event and will be available to purchase in sizes from A4 up to A0, immediately afterwards online.

A limited number will also be signed by Team BMW drivers Colin Turkington and Adam Morgan, who is from the Ribble Valley.

Morgan is now firmly established as one of the stars of the British Touring Car Championship.

Switching to BMW machinery with his family’s Ciceley Motorsport squad in 2021, he scored three wins and finished second in the following year’s Independents’ Championship.

Joining Team BMW – the manufacturer’s official UK team run by 16-time BTCC title-winners WSR – in 2023, Morgan scored the first of four podium finishes on his debut weekend at Donington Park and this year, driving a hybrid BMW 330e M Sport, has set his sights on adding to his 11 career wins and 41 podium finishes.

The creator of the limited-edition prints, Racing Line Designs was established in 2015 by James Potts initially focusing on creative pieces for private sale and display, including a number of popular artworks based on WSR-built BMW racing cars.

The studio has expanded in recent years to create official artwork and liveries for a customer base including IMSA and the European Le Mans Series as well as competitors in the FIA World Endurance Championship and Le Mans 24 Hours.

Carl Mitchell, Sporting & Operations Manager for WSR, said: “We were very happy with the response to our partnership with Racing Line Designs across the latter half of 2023. The artwork was unique and well-received by racing fans and by our guests, so it was a no-brainer to continue for a full season in 2024. We look forward to seeing what the team comes up with across the year.”

Racing Line Designs founder, James Potts, added: “It’s an absolute pleasure to continue our collaboration with WSR on this project. We look forward to creating more artwork in 2024 that fans of WSR, BMW and touring car racing will love.”

WSR was founded by Dick Bennetts in 1981and is one of Europe’s most successful racing teams, having tasted success with world champion drivers such as Ayrton Senna, Mika Hakkinen, Tom Kristensen, Nigel Mansell, Allan McNish and Andy Priaulx. After becoming the most successful team in the British Formula 3 Championship during the 1980s, WSR moved into the BTCC and have continued their extraordinary run of success.

The limited-edition prints and signed limited-edition prints are available to buy via the Racing Line Designs website.
