The Wellness Centre may be fairly new but their combined experience of 35 years in the industry is not to be taken lightly and testament to the trust their loyal clients have in their work.

“I work primarily in Chinese medicine practices, which focus on relieving mental or physical pain,” says Emma Riley, whose degree in Complimentary Medicine led her to discover these ground-breaking methods.

“My techniques range from cupping and acupuncture, which can be used to aid symptoms of depression and anxiety, to a popular method of treatment known as KORE therapy. This utilises various muscle-testing techniques to find underlying causes of pain or discomfort. Many people find they visit a GP and are sent away with pain medication and not much else. This is where KORE comes in because we can identify the causes of muscle pain that may stem from another area of the body and go on to provide a bespoke treatment for every client.”

Mandy Gardner has worked with professional skincare products for 20 years, and has ‘expert status’ from trusted skincare brand Dermalogica.

“I have always worked in skincare, with the last five years focusing on skin concerns and skin health. I use a range of non-surgical enhancements and skin treatments. Similar to Emma’s work I find many clients have exhausted all options before they find a treatment with us that really works. My expert knowledge and training allows me to provide a full analysis so that exactly the right treatment can be prescribed.”

“I then use 3D technology to treat the skin with whatever solution I think best, whether that’s light therapy for acne and pigmentation or radio frequency for tightening. This goes hand in hand with the scientifically formulated supplements as well as our huge range of Dermologica skin care products, meaning you can upkeep skin at home. We feel it’s key to manage our client’s expectations and be very open about the results of all our treatments, which really sets us apart,” Mandy adds.

As well as offering 3D facial treatments the Wellness Centre also offer a range of non-surgical body treatments ranging from fat reduction, fat freezing and HIFU skin tightening for sagging skin.

“The full range we offer is highly commended by all our clients. Fat freezing and reduction use similar techniques to target stubborn pockets such as love handles and bingo wings that are not easily fixed through exercise and diet. For fat reduction we recommend a course of six to eight treatments with an average loss of 2cm to 4cm per treatment. With the freezing, only one treatment is needed per area with a 20 per cent to 40 per cent reduction in fat. The 3D scanner creates an avatar of your body giving you clear ‘before’ and ‘after’ results, which sets us apart from other clinics who may offer similar fat reduction treatments.”
