Now we are heading into summer there’s lots to do at award-winning Samlesbury Hall – from a celebratory afternoon tea to one of the free tours of this fabulous historic building.

DIVORCED, BEHEADED, DIED… AN AUDIENCE WITH HENRY VIII
9th & 10th June 2023, 5pm–9pm
Two fabulous evenings in the courtyard with a tale of King Henry VIII and his wives. Pizzas will be available on the night from our wood fired oven and our bar will be open and fully stocked with Prosecco & Peroni if you wish or maybe even the odd G&T!

We are offering a deal in our fabulous shepherd’s huts if you wish to stay over, all tickets and bookings must be pre-booked via skiddle.

HERITAGE CAFÉ
In the stunning grounds of the hall is the fabulous Heritage Café which is open for delicious fresh breakfasts and afternoon tea, served Tuesday to Sunday. Enjoy the best of Lancashire with a full English or indulge in pancakes, granola, porridge or jam and toast! Visitors can also enjoy afternoon tea featuring seasonal produce with a menu that changes weekly. You can even include an indulgent glass of fizz! Book in advance to be sure of a reservation! Private dining is also an option at the Heritage Café.

TERRIFIC TOURS
Embark on a spellbinding walk through Samlesbury Hall with resident wicked witch Janey, who will have you enthralled with haunting tales of the hall. There are also historic tours of the hall when visitors will be guided through the centuries with fascinating stories or let award-winning guide Simon Entwistle entertain the whole family with his spooky entertaining tales.

Entry is completely free, but the hall does have a donation bucket – with every penny going to the upkeep of the building. For more details of the tours go to the website.

WEDDING OPEN EVENING
22nd June 2023, 5pm – 7pm
Featuring first class suppliers, the Wedding Open Evening will give visitors a glimpse of the secret of Samlesbury Hall’s success as a wedding venue. Guests can chat to Samlesbury Hall’s wedding co-ordinators to learn more about the various spaces within the hall, catering options and guest accommodation. There are some last-minute offers too for 2023 and 2024 weddings dates – just ask!
