Enjoy an evening at Samlesbury Hall for a delicious five-course meal accompanied throughout with a selection of sustainable, handcrafted gins from the award-winning Brindle Distillery. Relax in the grandeur of the 700-year-old Great Hall whilst sampling the finest local produce, prepared by our award-winning chefs.
Chef’s selection of canapés – Cuckoo’s Signature Gin and tonic.
Asian spiced stone bass ceviche with crispy vegetable salad, puffed wild rice and black sesame and coriander dressing – Cuckoo’s Spiced Gin.
Charred rump of British lamb marinated in garlic and marjoram with black olive pomme purée, vegetable caponata, crispy kale and salsa verde – Cuckoo’s Solace Gin.
Dark chocolate and cherry delice with olive oil cake, honey and pistachio Florentine and dark chocolate sorbet – Cuckoo’s Sunshine Gin.

Join us at one of Samlesbury Hall’s Wedding Open Evenings and get a feel for how your big day will go! There will be a glass of chilled fizz for you on arrival, with our delicious wood fired pizza available to taste. See our 14th century hall dressed as it could be on your wedding day and follow it up with an evening stroll up to the Shepherd’s Hut Hamlet to see our quirky, but luxurious, accommodation for your guests! Meet our favourite local suppliers including photographers, florists, venue dressers, cake makers and musicians. Don’t forget you can also ask our wedding team any questions you might have.

PIZZA & PROSECCO EVENINGS

Our wood fired pizza oven will make your mouth water as soon as you step into our beautiful festoon-lit Italian courtyard! Join us in July and August for our Thursday night pizza sessions at Samlesbury Hall throughout summer. Sit by the fountain, choose your pizza and enjoy with an ice-cold glass of Prosecco or Peroni if you would prefer!
