DATES FOR YOUR DIARY

Check out these exciting events that are set to be staged at Clitheroe Market in the heart of this vibrant town

EASTER MARKET
24th March
Find all of your favourite market traders and discover independent artisans with a delicious selection of goodies. After some Easter gift inspiration? Then call down to Clitheroe’s Bull Ring.

BEER & SAUSAGE MARKET
21st April
Following a belting event last year, this market celebrates the best of local produce. The market promises to be a tantalising mix of locally produced beers and some of Lancashire’s tastiest sausages against the beautiful backdrop of Clitheroe Castle.

ARTISAN CHEESE MARKET
19th May
You’ll find some rare varieties of cheese and plenty of tasters, as well as lots of ales, chutneys and pork pies. As well as demonstrations and cheese tastings, there will also be plenty of other food stalls and an abundance of real ale and cider.

VINTAGE & CRAFT MARKET
16th June
Featuring an array of locally sourced crafts from specialist producers as well as vintage and pre-loved items – a fascinating shopping experience. It’s about meeting the makers and bringing the social element back into market shopping!

PAMPERED PETS
14th July
Everything you need for your treasured pet. More than half of adults have a pet, with cats just edging out dogs as the most popular companion. We aim to have a stall for man’s best friend so if your pet is pampered, this market is just ‘pawfect’ for you!

XMAS MARKETS
1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd December
With all the fun and excitement that comes with the festive season, these Christmas markets are set to be the best ever. With gifts galore, locally made artisan food and drink as well as entertainment, this is definitely an event not to be missed!
