A Summer Delight
A visit to Clitheroe wouldn’t be complete without popping into in-toto Ribble Valley. This hidden gem, nestled at the foot of the castle grounds, is one showroom you have to call in on – and if you’re lucky, you may even get a cocktail, writes Tracy Johnson. Photography: David Scholes
It is the fourth year of trading for kitchen experts Jane and Simon Miller, and their impressive showroom is growing from strength to strength. Thanks to their professionalism and passion, customers are spoilt for choice by the striking designs on offer. This one-stop shop showcases the latest fashionable trends alongside traditional – catering for all needs – and if that isn’t enough, the award-winning 5* Neff Master Partner has two working kitchens too.
“We are able to bring our showroom to life via our Neff appliances, and now more recently via our Miele appliances,” says Jane. “Not only does this allow customers to experience first-hand how the appliances will work for them, it means we can hold frequent kitchen demonstrations too.”
And thanks to a packed diary of events, it’s going to be a jam-packed summer for Jane, Simon and their dedicated design team Claire Kelly and Jess Hall.
“We’re working hard on all the events we have coming up and we are eager to share them with our customers,” says Jane. “This includes a Neff & two Miele chef demos, and two Food Festivals over summer alone!”
But one event they can spill the beans on is the Clitheroe Food Festival. An official Festival venue for the popular event, in-toto Ribble Valley will be open from 9am to 5pm on the day and have rolling cooking demonstrations on the hour, every hour.
“We’ll also mix in talks from local producers, tasting sessions on local foods, and – I think this maybe the highlight this year – cocktail demos!” smiles Jane.
And if that isn’t enough, their sister shop in-toto Southport runs the annual cookery theatre at the acclaimed Southport Flower Show – working this year alongside Ainsley Harriott!
“We feel privileged to be in a position whereby, thanks to our two showrooms, we can be part of the region’s successful events while showcasing something we love,” says Jane. “It’s a great way to collaborate and forge links with local producers and chefs and transfer our knowledge of cooking back to our clients when designing their dream kitchens.”
It’s not just the exceptional products equipped with personal designs that make in-toto Ribble Valley the best of the best – coupled with their first-class customer service, they really do stand out from the crowd.
“We genuinely care,” says Jane. “From the minute a customer walks in, we want to design them the kitchen of their dreams, one they desire, and one that enables them to create great meals! And when it all comes together it’s extremely rewarding!”
