BUSMAN’S HOLIDAY?

Picture House Gallery is set to showcase a collection of work by various artists who have captured their vacations on canvas

Ever wondered what artists do on holiday? As they tend to see the world in a creative light, even holidays become an opportunity to capture the new landscapes around them. Different light and colour become an irresistible challenge.

Picture House is delighted to have accumulated a wonderful collection of original paintings from our gallery artists, all capturing various trips around Europe and the USA. Michael Ashcroft, Richard Clare, Chris Cyprus, Ian Layton, Norman Long, Rob Miller, Ian Norris and Steven Smith have all been travelling recently and were eager to share their experiences in one exhibition.

From 23rd March until mid May, visitors are welcome to come and browse these gorgeous works, to ease yourself into summer.

We will also continue to have available works by our collectable artists Don McKinlay, Ghislaine Howard, Peter Stanaway, Trevor Grimshaw, John Bellany and Geoffrey Key.

Why not view the website to see what’s currently available?

And don’t forget our expert framing service. With over 30 years of experience and two sites in Lancashire, we are perfectly placed to help with your framing dilemma, no matter how small or complicated.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
