CELEBRATION TIME…

Kitchen Design Centre are celebrating after a highly successful evening at the Neff MasterPartner Awards in London

It was success all round for Kitchen Design Centre at the prestigious Neff MasterPartner Awards held at the O2 Intercontinental in London. Hosted by Tess Daly and Gabby Logan, the awards celebrated quality, passion and creativity amongst Neff MasterPartners.

KDC designer Maxine Hutchinson won the Best Use of Small Space Award and coming in the top three was the KDC Barrowford showroom in the Best Showroom category, KDC’s Suzanne Carter for Best Use of Small Space and Simon Thomas for Best Designer of a Kitchen Under £25k.

Maxine works in the Barrowford showroom, which opened a year ago following a £300,000 investment. She has worked for Kitchen Design Centre for seven years and was up for two awards at the prestigious ceremony. The kitchen she won the Best Use of Small Space Award for was previously an old school house in Todmorden, which has been converted in to duplex apartments. With extremely high ceilings and limited space, Maxine created the perfect design which was sympathetic to the character of the building and created distinct living, dining and eating zones.

Maxine said: “I’m over the moon to have won this award. To be recognised as a designer at this level is incredible. The competition was tough with hundreds of entries so to win is a fantastic achievement.”

Speaking about the evening, Barrowford showroom manager, Simon Thomas said: “To be acknowledged at this level is fantastic. We aim to lead the way in kitchen design and to come in the top three for all the awards we entered, is confirmation that we are. I’m especially pleased that the Barrowford showroom came in the top three in the country – an amazing achievement just a year after opening. Congratulations to Maxine for winning and to all the team for an incredible achievement. I’m immensely proud of them all.”

Group Marketing Manager from Neff, Jo Eyres, commented on this year’s awards ceremony: “Neff MasterPartners are the ultimate Neff kitchen retailers in the UK, allowing consumers to have the best knowledge and experience when choosing their kitchen, and we’re proud to celebrate and recognise these at the awards. The passion and quality of their work really shone through in every entry and we want to congratulate all the winners and finalists this year.”

Tony Sedgwick, Neff area business manager added: “Kitchen Design Centre have really utilised their space to achieve its full potential and boast three showrooms that showcase Neff appliances, which consumers can view and be given expert advice. Their award-winning kitchen space entry in to the Neff MasterPartner Awards is testament to their hard work and design skills. They are worthy winners of the Best Use of a Small Space category.”

Kitchen Design Centre was established in 1984 and has three showrooms in Manchester, Blackburn and Barrowford
