ESTATE LIFE

Gisburne Park Estate is a 1,000-acre estate surrounding Gisburn, owned and managed by Guy Hindley, who is converting it into a thriving tourist destination called Ribblesdale Park

As the end of the year draws near we start to prepare ourselves for the next. January is an extremely busy time of year for our wedding team as they show around newly engaged couples. We only have a few dates available each year so if you are wanting one please don’t hesitate to arrange a private tour of the estate as 2019 and 2020 are nearly filled.

Here at Gisburne Park Estate, your marquee or tipi is surrounded by 70-foot cliffs, overlooked by 300-year-old beech trees, and is perched on the tributary of Stock Beck and the River Ribble and its yours exclusively for the whole week.

Upstream, beyond a picturesque bridge and set back slightly from the river’s edge is your magical, spacious three-bedroom Riverside bridal house and suite from where you can watch your dreams unfold. Riverside House is yours for seven nights and has a large dressing room for wedding party preparations, two further bedrooms, which are accessed by a separate staircase, two bathrooms, large kitchen, dining room and two lounge areas.

I am proud to boast that we are the largest venue in the Ribble Valley and can accommodate well over 200 guests overnight in state-of-the-art lodges, historic houses and cosy cottages all with private hot tubs.

The New Year is also an extremely busy time in the holiday industry with a huge amount of the year’s bookings coming within the first month. Therefore it’s imperative that everything’s correctly priced and positioned with our booking agent Hoseasons.

On Ribblesdale Park, our holiday village, we have a few lodges for sale starting around £100,000. These come fully furnished with spacious decking areas and views of the Yorkshire Dales. If you would like a private tour of our show homes please don’t hesitate to get in touch to arrange a viewing.

Hindelinis, our gourmet cafe, is once again hosting a spectacular three-course New Year’s Dinner. The price is only £40 per person and food is served from 7pm. With the success of the last few years and with the quality of the food that the restaurant is consistently putting out, this evening is becoming a popular alternative to many of the over-priced and over-crowed alternatives.
