ESTATE LIFE

Gisburne Park Estate is a 1,000-acre estate surrounding Gisburn, owned and managed by Guy Hindley, who is converting it into a thriving tourist destination called Ribblesdale Park

Finally, after nearly 10 years of heavy traffic our little café Hindelinis is getting a much-needed facelift. On the 26th July we reopen having installed a bar and re done a lot of the interior. This is Phase 1 of a refurbishment programme and Phase 2 will come later in the year. With the addition of the new bar we believe that we will be able to improve our customers’ experience and make our service slicker.

As always, we lean on our incredible local supplier network. One because they are local and, two, because they are as good a product as you can get anywhere. We will also be serving local cask ale from Bowland Brewery, a selection of premium beers and cocktails (some of which are brewed locally) and we’ll be open every night of the week. Tuesday will be a fish and chip night offering two large fish and chips for only £10 and Wednesdays will be pie night. We will also be open later in the evenings every night of the week. The evening menu is being altered slightly to account for the changes, but rest assured the breakfast menu is not being touched!

I am extremely excited about the changes we are making to our ever popular Hindelinis. I never had any idea that over the years it would become so popular and now it’s time to take it to the next level. I also believe it will be a significant positive to our holidaymakers who come from all over the country and now will be able to taste local flavours in a truly spectacular setting.

We currently have some lodges which are for sale, with prices starting from around £100,000. These come fully furnished with spacious decking areas and views of the Yorkshire Dales. If you would like a private tour of our show homes, please don’t hesitate to arrange a viewing.

Our wedding season continues with lots of happy couples and guests, all of whom have enjoyed their weekend celebrations here at the estate.

Surrounded by 70ft cliffs and overlooked by 300-year-old beech trees your chosen marquee or tipi is perched on the tributary of Stock Beck and the River Ribble and is yours exclusively for the whole week.

A handful of dates are still available for 2020 and beyond so if you’re looking for something a little different for your special day, call Sarah on 01200 411233 to book your private viewing.
