Summer has arrived and ShoeMed have introduced their new colourful summer range which, includes a variety of sandals, trainers and casual shoes that ensure complete comfort throughout the warmer months.
At ShoeMed, the professionals recognise that everyone’s feet are different and therefore offer a personal and bespoke fitting service in order to find the best shoes for you. Each individual is invited to sit back and relax whilst the fitters work their magic. The experts will spend 40 to 50 minutes, or more if necessary, getting to know your feet to ensure you have the best fit possible.
Owners, Julia and Neil Howarth tell me: “Many of our shoes come in a variety of styles, widths and depths, with removable insoles, so we need take our time to make sure we find the correct fit for each person.”
For many of us the summer season also means holiday time. The specialist shoe shop have sandals for both men and women, which will keep your feet cool and relaxed. Available in a range of colours, patterns and sizes, you can look your best whilst some even make you feel like you are walking on air! In addition there are sandals available with a rocker sole, which are great for helping with many foot conditions including Morton’s Neuroma, Plantar Fasciitis, arthritis, joint and back pain. Sandals are also available with a standard sole unit.

Julia tells me: “Many of our customers return and buy another pair of the same shoes but in a different colour. The main reason for this is that the shoe has been so successful in helping to alleviate their painful foot conditions, they won’t, or are reluctant to, wear anything else! We get a buzz knowing we have fitted the customer with the shoe that is right for them.”
