Katie Green launched Heart of Your Home Kitchens two years ago and now she is continuing the development of her business by introducing her own brand to run alongside the hugely successful and popular 1909 and current kitchen ranges
Created by Katie Green and crafted by time served cabinet makers, the new Heart of Your Home Kitchens Exquisite Collection will enable customers to create a totally bespoke kitchen that is ultimately unique.
Each piece is hand made and hand painted here in the UK in the colour of your choice. Whether that’s a heritage shade from Farrow and Ball or a long standing personal favourite – the choice is yours!
These are exciting times for Katie, who, since founding Heart of Your Home Kitchens has forged a reputation for her stunning designs and her personal ethos to oversee each project from concept to completion.
The Exquisite Collection is the culmination of a close collaboration with her artisan cabinet makers who hand craft drawers, cabinets and free-standing furniture. Katie has designed some new displays and visitors to Heart of Your Home Kitchens’ stunning showroom in Waddington will soon be able to see for themselves the quality of the new collection and just what can be achieved.
“I have chosen Farrow and Ball colours for the new showroom in palette trends that have been forecast for 2018,” says Katie, who has selected Calamine, Manor House Gray and Hague Blue for the Exquisite cabinetry.
“I can design exactly whatever the customer wants in any colour. You will not find anything else like it because it is totally personalised and exclusive to Heart of Your Home Kitchens,” explains Katie, who invites customers into her showroom by appointment where she can discuss the options and show them how their custom made kitchen will look using her state-of-the-art CAD system.
“The Exquisite range is very much a furniture collection and because it is hand made I can create curved seating areas with matching freestanding furniture to complement the kitchen cabinetry perfectly. The Exquisite Collection is an affordable, luxury product that is truly unique.”
Made by craftsmen, the Collection features solid oak drawers with traditional dove-tailed joints, while the cabinets can be lined in real oak or walnut for example.
“The collection is manufactured and then hand painted specifically for the client. It is all very traditional, I believe that this will really appeal to the people of the Ribble Valley.”

“All shades of grey, I think, will still be popular but the trend is definitely for keeping things light and airy. Pale grey and the introduction of subtle, dusty rose pinks is definitely forecast.”
