Tucked away in the peaceful grounds of Oakhill School in Whalley is a hidden gem of a gym that combines the very best in terms of fitness, leisure and luxury spa-style facilities.
After a full refurbishment, Oakhill Leisure has recently invested over £80,000 in new gym equipment, a dedicated spin studio and has expanded the class timetable.
With free parking, unlimited personal training advice and luxury changing facilities, featuring showers and saunas, members have access to a host of premium facilities that are unrivalled within the region.
The new TechnoGym equipment features treadmills, cross-trainers, rowers, a Skillmill, Stairmaster, Air Assault bike and Skillbikes that connect to STRAVA to create virtual rides so cyclists can still train throughout the dark winter months – and stay warm and dry!
There is also a new high-tech dedicated spin studio offering over 60 classes per week with the recently updated timetable.
Overall Oakhill Leisure, with its affiliation to world renowned Les Mills and TechnoGym, is able to offer over 120 classes per week including BodyPump™, BodyCombat™ and GRIT™.
Classes can be experienced virtually in the studio or with one of Oakhill’s qualified PT instructors, as Oakhill Leisure’s Gemma Baron explains: “Having a mix of virtual and live classes gives members so much more flexibility, which they really enjoy as they can mix and match.”

Outside there is also a 3G pitch that can be hired by members, non-members and clubs.
