A Fresh Smile For Private Dentistry
Dentistry by Cure Clinics, an innovative dental practice model, is set to revolutionise the way patients experience oral healthcare from Spring 2022. Emma Brereton talks to Dr Chris Ball
Based in Fulwood, next to the new Eastway retail complex off the M55, the new clinic will harness a team of skilled dentists, therapists and nurses. Furthermore, it will provide a wide range of treatments, including cosmetic dentistry and Invisalign whilst making personalised care plans the highest priority.
The new concept is the creation of Dr Chris Ball, 32, an experienced local dentist and UCLAN graduate who was born and raised in Preston. It has been a lifelong ambition to own his own practice and he is determined to put the patient in control of their oral healthcare journey.
When explaining his motivation behind founding the new practice, Chris said: “Treating the whole person and not just the mouth is very important to me. Following an accident, I had as a child, I was fortunate to receive sensitive, skilful dental treatment – a positive experience for which I have remained grateful ever since. This early experience inspired me to establish a dental practice that embraces holistic care and a huge part of that involves taking the time to get to know and understand every individual we treat.”
Launching this Spring, Chris is opening the clinic in partnership with his brother Michael, who owns Broadway pharmacy. It was important to Chris that the state-of-the-art clinic was not only situated in the town he grew up in, but also linked to the healthcare provider, which has been serving the local community since 1960.
Chris added: “We have a strong vision for how we want Cure Clinics to care for our communities and it’s that concept that is at the heart of the hard work we have put into designing the new practice.”
To cement Chris’ visualisation for the clinic, he has appointed Fabio Vidotti as head of business services. Fabio comes with an abundance of experience in hotel and restaurant management, a skillset the team felt will be imperative to the success of the practice.
“The best customer service is usually given in high-end establishments like a hotel or restaurant. Fabio has worked in and managed some of the most prestigious leisure facilities around the world and in the initial planning stages, we decided it was essential we had a person with this kind of expertise on board.
“This way we can ensure we provide excellent customer service and we will use his experience to create the perfect ambience for our patients. We want our clients to feel at ease and enjoy their visits – the same as you would feel visiting a health spa. It will be a healthcare haven not just a visit to the dentist’s chair.”
Using the latest technology, computerised imaging and intra-oral cameras, the Dentistry by Cure Clinics team will work closely with each patient to prepare a personalised dental plan in a welcoming and comfortable environment. The new practice will serve as a holistic healthcare sanctuary, delivering high-end customer service in a calm and relaxed atmosphere.
Chris pointed out: “The choice to invest in private dental care is not always associated with high fees. For as little as £25 per month for adults and £6.50 per month for children, our monthly fees will equate to that of a movie streaming subscription.
