CONFERENCE CALL

Central to the developments at Longridge Golf Club is a new conference room, where club officials entertained members of the local business community at an official opening earlier this month.

The new conference room provides an excellent intimate venue for meetings, seminars and presentations for up to 25 people. An interactive whiteboard has been installed courtesy of club member Aaron Herbert, while flexible modular tables offer a variety of layouts. The room is available for hire, offering a local amenity or as part of a business and golf day.

The refurbishment has provided over 60 lockers spread between the men’s and ladies’ locker rooms, which have been re-decorated and newly carpeted. A new trolley storage area with battery charging points is also a welcome addition. A large screen TV with Sky and BT Sports will also provide further benefit to the membership.

This current project owes much to the generosity of local businessman and club member Dean Mirfin.

Commenting Club President Roger Cain said: “The new conference room will be a great asset to the club and hopefully local businesses will take full advantage of the high quality facility we can now offer.”
