An open day focusing on mental health is to be held at The Grand, Clitheroe featuring various services and self-help groups

Over 20 stand-holders will be at a Ribble Valley Mental Health Awareness Day, showcasing the support and services they provide in the borough. Stand-holders will feature local mental health charities, service providers, self-help groups and other psychological health organisations.

The daytime event is free* for the public, however donations will be welcomed. All organisations and charities involved in the De-Stigmatize: Ribble Valley Mental Health Awareness Day will benefit from this.

Raffle tickets will be sold also with some excellent prizes donated by businesses, sponsors and supporters across the borough.

* The free event from 10am-3pm is the information event for the public. However, during the evening from 7:30pm also at The Grand, is a fundraising ticketed event which will be taking place to raise money for mental health charities, service providers and organisations in the area. There will be guest speakers, bands and entertainment throughout the evening.
