Estate Life

Gisburne Park Estate surrounding Gisburn, is owned and managed by Guy Hindley, who is converting it into a thriving tourist destination called Ribblesdale Park

It’s been a busy January on Gisburne Park Estate and an exciting start to 2020. We’ve already welcomed some new owners to the Ribblesdale Park community. We relaunched our new wedding and events business and have been happily surprised by the demand. Plus, our popular restaurant Hindelinis is currently in the midst of a rebrand. We also have a party house, which has been refurbished and can sleep 16 people, going live on our website.

In summer 2019 we refurbished the cafe and upgraded it into a bar restaurant. We’ve been significantly busier since then, but the demand has highlighted some weaknesses in our business which we have addressed, but there is still further to go. We have just launched our new breakfast menu, which includes all the favourites but with the addition of some healthier, lighter options such as smashed avocado on toast with fresh chili, rocket leaves and lime. We are pleased to be now serving homemade buttermilk pancakes and waffles, which are slightly fluffier and tastier than before. Soon we will be relaunching a new lunch and evening menu and this will be released on our social media pages.

We have launched a Valentine’s Week sharing menu which includes a variety of starter and main dishes that can easily be shared by two. This will run from Monday 10th February through to Sunday 16th.

Our wedding and event venue relaunched in January with lots of noise! The rebrand has been spearheaded by the formidable Robyn Isherwood whose 10 years of executing events all over the world is proving invaluable. Our stunning venue is now available for hire from Thursday to Monday or Monday to Thursday. With prices in winter from £2400 and prices in summer from £4200. It is truly a world class setting that takes your breath away. What sets Gisburne Park apart from others is we are unbelievably flexible – presenting you with a blank canvas upon which you can curate your perfect day. As of a few months ago we are now licensed to conduct weddings on the estate so you can now get married here and have a stunning ceremony by the river. Demand has caught us all by surprise and dates for 2021 and 2022 are getting booked up fast so please don’t hesitate to arrange a private tour if you are interested.

As always we have lodges for sale and currently, we have lodge number seven, which overlooks the historic parkland, on the market at £154,500. It’s a spacious two-bedroom lodge with a huge deck and hot tub.
