Gisburne Park Estate is a 1,000-acre estate, surrounding Gisburn, owned and managed by Guy Hindley, who is converting it into a thriving tourist destination called Ribblesdale Park
Welcome to Ribblesdale Park, a family run holiday destination in the heart of the Ribble Valley. Just over 10 years ago my father passed away and I inherited the historic Gisburne Park Estate. I was completing my Master of Fine Arts degree at the City University in New York at the time. I quickly returned home to Lancashire and got to work on converting the planning permission my father gained on a disused dairy farm into a holiday resort.
To the south you can see Pendle Hill and to the north there are views of the Yorkshire Dales. The position of the park in the heart of the estate is exquisite. Over the last 10 years we have created a community and gardens centred around peaceful living, gorgeous surroundings and first class customer service. I am the first to admit that we sometimes get it wrong but with the fantastic team (that has now been with us for a number of years) we get it wrong a lot less!
The park is open every day of the year. We sell lodges and we rent lodges and cottages with hot tubs out for holidays. The lodges start at £98,500 and can go up to over £250,000 depending on the size and specifications.
The park is bound together by our gourmet cafe, Hindelinis, which we opened in 2010.
Over the last couple years under the masterful stewardship of Shane Allen the cafe has exploded and at times we are struggling to cope with the demand. We now have three excellent chefs working full time and a professional front of house team that know how to operate. The opening hours for Hindelinis are: Monday 8am-9pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 8am-5pm, Thursday 8am-8pm, Friday and Saturday 8am-9pm and Sunday 8am-5pm.
