ESTATE LIFE

Gisburne Park Estate is a 1,000-acre estate surrounding Gisburn, owned and managed by Guy Hindley, who is converting it into a thriving tourist destination called Ribblesdale Park

It’s been a busy start to the year, with January seeing lots of newly engaged couples visiting the estate in the search of their perfect wedding venue. They haven’t been disappointed as the deer have often been here to greet them too!

Here at Gisburne Park Estate you really can create the wedding of your dreams. Your chosen marquee or tipi is surrounded by 70ft cliffs, overlooked by 300-year-old beech trees and is perched on the tributary of Stock Beck and the River Ribble and it’s yours exclusively for the whole week.

Upstream, beyond a picturesque bridge and set back slightly from the river’s edge is your magical, spacious three-bedroom cottage featuring a breath-taking bridal suite, from where you can watch your dreams unfold. Exclusively yours, it has a large dressing room for wedding party preparations, two further bedrooms which are accessed by a separate staircase, two bathrooms, large kitchen, dining room and two lounge areas.

We are the largest wedding venue in the Ribble Valley, a fact of which I am very proud. We can accommodate over 200 guests overnight in state-of-the-art lodges, historic houses and cosy cottages all with private hot tubs.

With a select number of dates available each year, they are filling fast. Please do call Sarah on 01200 411233 to arrange your private viewing of the estate.

Our holiday village, Ribblesdale Park, continues to thrive with guests from across the UK and Scotland enjoying short breaks, many of whom return year on year. We are looking forward to welcoming a handful of new lodges this year, and continuing the lodge refurbishment plans, which I’m sure will be enjoyed by many.

We currently have some lodges which are for sale, with prices starting from around £100,000. These come fully furnished with spacious decking areas and views of the Yorkshire Dales. If you would like a private tour of our show homes, please don’t hesitate to get in touch to arrange a viewing.

Our gourmet café, Hindelinis, continues to grow and is as popular as ever with both holidaymakers and locals alike. A wide selection of the menu is also available to take away, as well as eat in, which has offered an ideal option for the dark winter nights.
