Fashion made for you

Popular Chorley women’s boutique Maidens is now under new ownership. Sarah Ulyatt spoke with Paula Flitcroft to find out more about her exciting plans for the store

With more than 10 years’ Maidens experience, Paula Flitcroft has recently become the new owner of Chorley’s destination boutique. “I’m passionate about the store and can’t wait to continue driving it forward to reach its full potential,” explains Paula.

All personally hand-picked by Paula, the store stocks the latest clothing and accessories from designers including Paul Smith, Ted Baker, French Connection, Yaya, Polo Ralph Lauren, DL Sport Footwear, Penny Black, Paige Denim, Riani, Marc Cain, Armani and Mackage.

“Maiden’s stock is all picked with my customers in mind and it’s important to me that we have a real mix of reasonably priced and high-end items,” said Paula.

For a warm, relaxed and friendly welcome, Paula and her Maidens team make shopping easy with suggestions on sizing, styles and accessorising without any pressure to purchase. Paula continued, “I want to make sure everyone is given that special treatment and personal service, and that’s what sets us apart from the high street – we’ve had some lovely comments on social media to back that up which makes me really proud.

“I’d like to invite customers old and new to come down to Maidens and take a look at the new store. I’m always posting new stock on Facebook and Instagram, so give us a follow, too!”
