FINDING YOUR CONFIDENCE

The journey to body confidence can be difficult, especially after an indulgent Christmas period. Thanks to Sculpt Aesthetics, the destination is much closer than you think, writes Victoria Bamber. Photography: Kirsten Platt

For those of us with hectic schedules, busy work lives and family commitments, it is often difficult to make the time to eat a healthy diet, look after our bodies and find the willpower to exercise regularly – particularly in January.

Thankfully Sculpt Aesthetics appreciate that mind and body wellbeing can be a difficult balance to achieve and work with clients every step of the way to ensure positive health, fitness and lifestyle results.

“We want people to feel good about themselves and make a positive change,” says Jemma Knox – managing director at Sculpt Aesthetics, based at the welcoming Shaw Hill Leisure. “At the start of a New Year, this can be difficult. People might not know where to start and can feel self-conscious. Sculpt Aesthetics offers treatments that reduce fat, tighten the skin and reduce cellulite, but we also offer education on how to make successful lifestyle changes: diet, exercise, motivation and confidence. We teach people to love their bodies and feel happy in themselves, maintaining lifelong results.”

Specialising in non-invasive, non-surgical face and body treatments; Sculpt’s purpose and mission is to improve wellness and wellbeing. With a host of packages on offer and with Jemma at the helm as an all-round health and fitness coach, Sculpt’s bespoke services see transformational results time and again without clients having to go under the knife to achieve their dream body.

“People shouldn’t feel tired every day and they shouldn’t feel hungry. We work with clients from all walks of life in a healthy and non-judgemental way,” explains Jemma. “Many clinics offer treatments, but we go the extra mile, educating people that having a great figure and loving your body is easy once you have the tools and knowledge in place. We do everything – take clients food shopping, help them work up meal plans and provide support 24/7.”

Offering personal training and treatment plans tailored to meet individual needs is one of the reasons why Sculpt has experienced staggering success since the brand’s launch in 2014. With fitness sessions run by Jemma, the friendly and accessible atmosphere is relaxing, rather than intimidating. “When I was pregnant, I put on a lot of weight,” says Jemma. “I needed to make a change, so I started training. I didn’t just focus on exercise, but on my diet too. When I realised how much confidence came from within, I decided that I wanted other people to feel as inspired and energised.”

With clients travelling from as far afield as Scotland and Yorkshire, Sculpt’s focus on improving client’s health, wellbeing and appearance stems from a deep passion and undeniable pride for their work.
