SHARE THE SECRET

When we discover something that’s really good we like to share the secret! That’s why the Helping Hands Group has grown into one of the best cleaning, laundry, maintenance and assistance services in the region

It may be one of the best kept secrets around, but the Helping Hands Group is quietly expanding its respected cleaning and maintenance services. By popular demand, owner Suzanne Waring and her hard working team are now offering a comprehensive home help service – filling a much-needed gap in the market.

Still offering a super-efficient cleaning service as well as laundry and property maintenance, the Helping Hands Group is now able to provide assistance around the home as and when it’s required.

So if you or a loved one needs shopping, transporting to medical appointments, help with mobility or post-op care, making meals or you just need a little bit of company, the friendly team at Helping Hands can provide all this and more!

“Customers come to us and ask us what we do with regards to home help. I ask them what do they need?” says Suzanne, whose team are all enhanced DBS checked.

“We are not a personal care service but we can provide everything up to that, so if family are going on holiday or they work full time, we can step in and ensure their loved one has meals, that they are safe and everything is okay.”

As with all successful businesses, it is the people behind them that make them stand out from the crowd and at the Helping Hands Group it is the enthusiasm and passion of owner Suzanne that continues to drive the company forwards.

Now employing 36 people, who are all as passionate when it comes to providing a first class service, the Helping Hands Group was founded by Suzanne as a cleaning service in 1999.

Since then the group has gradually expanded, introducing a property maintenance service and latterly a dog walking service too!

Whether it’s domestic or commercial cleaning, property services or home help, the Helping Hands Group has grown into a thriving business that today covers the whole of the Ribble Valley and beyond.

Renowned for their meticulous attention to detail, Suzanne invests heavily in staff training, as she explains: “Inviting someone into your home is a big decision. We understand that. As an employer I invest in people and in return they want to do their best. They buy into what we do and their enthusiasm is reflected in their work.”

DOMESTIC CLEANING
Helping Hands can do as much or as little as you require from a one-off super-deep clean, a regular weekly or monthly clean or assistance with anything from laundry to shopping. Suzanne will always visit clients at home to discuss their requirements. If you require a regular clean, you can expect to see the same faces too so the team becomes familiar with your lifestyle.

COMMERCIAL CLEANING
No matter how small or large your company, the Helping Hands Group can help clean and maintain your property and offices. A clean and tidy workplace says a lot about your business! To ensure it is kept spick and span, the team at Helping Hands can clean, vac and tidy – they can even help with maintenance no matter how big or small the job.

PROPERTY MAINTENANCE
Suzanne’s husband Phil is head of the Helping Hands Group property maintenance services and he can turn his hand to anything! From window cleaning to mowing the lawns, landscaping and laying patios, for both commercial and domestic customers, Phil carries out all property maintenance inside and out, epitomising Helping Hands’ ‘can-do’ ethos.

HOLIDAY HOMES
Helping Hands is also developing a ‘fast-track’ cleaning and maintenance facility to service holiday homes. They work with a number of Ribble Valley holiday homes, providing a quick turnaround, changing beds, cleaning and stocking the fridge, before the next holidaymakers arrive. Phil also provides a property maintenance service too, keeping the lawns and decking areas neat and tidy.

HOME HELP
Helping Hands recognises that sometimes the elderly or infirm may need a little assistance around the home, from day to day chores to a little companionship too. The Helping Hands Group endeavours to provide the same familiar team-member so they get to know their clients’ routine and preferences. Whether it’s taking someone to a doctor’s appointment, helping with the shopping, meal-making or a friendly chat, the team can ably assist providing as much or as little help as required. They can also provide ‘fill-in’ help if a regular carer or family member is on holiday.

Offering 100 per cent satisfaction guarantee, the Helping Hands Group has established a proven track record spanning almost two decades.

“The team works extremely hard on everything they do,” says Suzanne. “Everyone understands the business and what is required of them.”

“In all aspects of the business, we commit ourselves totally to providing exactly what our customers want – it’s all about them.”
