Begin With The End In Mind

Starting a fitness routine or even re-starting a regime that you’ve been working on previously can always be daunting, explains personal trainer Daniel Masters

When we start a fitness routine, we often wonder if what we are doing is the right thing to do, and many of us set off without the slightest idea of even how to begin. 

It can be scary 
I’ve lost track of the times I’ve heard, ‘I’ve never been to a gym before’ or ‘I used to go before having the kids’ and even, ‘you wouldn’t believe this but I used to be in really good shape’. 

If this sounds like you take solace in the fact, that you aren’t alone. 

As you’ve just read, I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve spoken to, and helped people, just like yourself. 

That’s why it helps to go somewhere that has people who know exactly what to do, to not only get you back on track or even on track for the first time, but also to keep you on track. 

Consistency is key
Ask yourself how many times you’ve started a diet or any type of healthy living plan and it’s just fell to pieces? 

It probably wasn’t all your fault. When we try to make changes it’s often major changes we make all at once and this can actually be our downfall – especially if you don’t have someone to help keep you on track, someone to be accountable to, someone to pick you up when you fall down.
